Complaints Management Policy

The Wasit for Science and Medicine is committed to maintaining high ethical standards and transparency in all aspects of its editorial and publication processes. We take all complaints seriously and handle them promptly, fairly, and confidentially.

Complaints Procedure

  1. Submission:
    Complainants may submit their concerns directly by email to the journal’s official address:
    j.sciamed.cosci@uowasit.edu.iq
    Please include all relevant details and supporting evidence related to the complaint.

  2. Acknowledgment:
    The Editor-in-Chief will acknowledge receipt of the complaint and confirm that it is under review.

  3. Investigation:
    The Editor-in-Chief, in coordination with the Editorial Secretary and Editorial Manager, will review the matter, investigate the claims, and work toward a timely and fair resolution.

  4. Resolution and Communication:
    Once the investigation is complete, the Editor-in-Chief will provide a formal response to the complainant, explaining the findings and any actions taken.

  5. Continuous Improvement:
    The Editor-in-Chief encourages the editorial team to discuss lessons learned from complaints and to implement recommendations that improve the journal’s editorial and publication processes.

Objective

This policy aims to ensure that all complaints are handled effectively and transparently. The complaints management system seeks to:

  1. Provide a structured process for addressing issues raised by complainants in a timely manner.

  2. Strengthen authors’ and readers’ confidence in our publication practices.

  3. Promote continuous quality improvement across our editorial operations, publications, and communication standards.
