The effect of the fungus Beauveria bassiana on different stages of cowpea weevil Callosobrushes Maculantus (fab.) (Coleoptera: Bruchidae).

Abstract

A study in year 2006 show the effect of the fungus Beauveria bassiana in percentages of killing different stages of the insect cowpen weevil callosobrunchus maculates in three different dilutions 3.4 × 10-6 , 3.4 × 10-5 × 3.4 × 10-6 spore/ML in constant temp. 28 ± 2 C and R.H.75 ± 5%. The best dilution was 3.4×10-6 the percentage of egg hatching 30 % and percentage killing for the four larval in star was 43.3 # and also percentage killing at the pupae 70% and percentage killing of adult 100% male and female.
